Our bungalows are located just a short walk 500 meters from the main beach harbor in Nemberala, providing convenient access to the surf breaks in the area. We understand that surfing isn't the only activity you'll be interested in, which is why we offer a range of options and services to further enjoy your stay.

Our staff are skilled in preparing delicious meals that cater to the needs of active individuals. We prioritize taste and nutrition over fancy presentation, ensuring that you're well-fueled for your adventures. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to maintain the gardens, pool, and buildings, ensuring that everything is in top form.

While Lualemba Bungalow Resort is not located right on the beach, the reasons for being back from the beach is to grow beautiful greenery and away from the sand based areas that radiate the tropical heat several degrees higher than the actual temperature. The main surf break is more than 1 kilometer away from the beach, so sitting back and watching people surf isn't feasible. We believe it's essential to accommodate for our guests to be as cool and comfortable as possible from the tropical temperatures.

The beach itself may not be suitable for swimming due to the massive tides and currents, as well as the presence of ropes and stakes from the Agar Agar seaweed farming. We provide refreshing and enjoyable swimming experience, having created a natural plunge pool that is chemical free within our premises.

One of the main advantages of our location is the abundance of shade trees and gardens in fertile soils offering respite from the intense tropical sun. Lush green grass grows where ever there are no gardens so when the winds blow no dust or sand is blowing through the resort.

We have transformed our property into a cool paradise within a tropical island paradise with guests often referred to as the Ubud of Rote. From comfortable bungalows to a large central communal area with a restaurant and bar lounge, we provide a relaxing atmosphere for all our guests.
