June 2024 - Lualemba Bungalow Resort - Monthly newsletter

Hi Guys and Gals

June 2024 newsletter was a pretty full on month jam packed with good waves not just at Tland but everywhere was going off. Families come to Lualemba Bungalow Resort originally for just a short stay and ended up staying over 3 weeks. We had a couple of new additions to Lualemba Bungalow Resort as in the fluffy variety thanks to Ozka and Azora. Sailing adventures to Ndana island were popular as Te Aila was was ding her thing with the wind. Feasts were pumping out of the kitchen with guests overwhelmed by the exciting dishes being served. Boss Jenet turn a year older with a traditional dinner shared amongst family, staff, friends and guests.

Enjoy our June newsletter and it is still not too late to come and have fun at Lualemba Bungalow Resort during season 2024.

Sunset is popular at Nemberala beach as a great way to celebrate another beautiful day.

The best time of the day to hang on Nemberala beach as the sun sets it is not only a beautiful site it also a nice cool place to hang to enjoy the end of another day.

Day out sailing is one of the highlights while staying at Lualemba Bungalow Resort.

So much can happen on a trip to Ndana as our guests found out during June with hook ups to big fish, dolphins swimming along the bow and enjoying the power of the wind. When at Ndana island enjoy the snorkelling in the family safe environment with in the lagoon seeing beautiful coral and excotic fish or surf the sechuled reef breaks with just a few people.

Biggest swell of the year.

Everyone who was game enough to take on the biggest swell to hit Tland for season 2024 are probably thinking of some of the rides they had still today. Epic rides from the pyramid through the mountain ending at Bananas were some of the experiences along with steep drops and nice cover ups or large walls to play with.

Island paradise with waves for just a few in a beautiful location.

Great place to go to when your not equipped for the large swells hitting Tland or your just not up to it. Still not a beginners wave surfs still have their challengers with this quick barrelling wally wave.

Feasts fit for a king.

The banquet dinners were running hot each night with a great selection of dishes to choose and plenty of stories amongst guests over the dinner table. Not to mention the showing of the state of origin where guests were able to relax in the comfort of Lualemba Restaurant just a short walk from their bungalow.

Welcome Wali and Kori

More fluff balls

Ozka and Azora got it together and along come Wali and Kori two fine young studs. Yes and they were born dark brown with black faces nothing like the parents. Cute and cuddly Boss Jenet won’t part from them.

Peanuts had a perfect afternoon in June with not a soul to be seen.

This wave has certain windows with certain conditions at certain tides and certain swell sizes and directions. So if you see it breaking good surf it before it changes or you will probably miss it. Looks great when it does its thang.

Outside dinner with a bit of a traditional touch.

Boss Jenets birthday

Set in traditional style outside laid out on banana leaves a feast of barbeque mackerel and chicken amongst a choice of salads and yellow rice was enjoyed with guests, family and friends. It was a fun night with an outside twist.
